<div class="article" itemprop="articleBody">BRATISLAVA 15. decembra - Ministerstvo životného prostredia spúšťa legislatívny proces, ktorým sa novelizuje zákon o ochrane prírody a krajiny. Obmedzia sa činnosti a hospodárske aktivity, ktorými dochádza k poškodzovaniu a ničeniu biotopov v chránených územiach. „Slovensku hrozí žaloba a sankcie za zlyhania predchádzajúcich vlád v dôsledku nedostatočnej ochrany biotopov. Jedinou cestou, ako zabrániť riziku sankcii je prijať účinné opatrenia na skutočnú ochranu nášho prírodného bohatstva – národných parkov,“ zdôraznil minister životného prostredia Ján Budaj.<br />

MŽP preto prichádza s novelou zákona, ktorej súčasťou má byť prevedenie správy lesov vo vlastníctve štátu, ktoré sú v národných parkoch ako územia v 3.,4. a 5. stupni ochrany, pod správu Štátnej ochrany prírody.<br />

Envirorezort chce zmenou zákona podporiť aj urbárne spoločenstvá a nastaviť jednoduchší a spravodlivejší spôsob odškodňovania súkromných vlastníkov za obmedzenie ich hospodárskych aktivít. „Mnohí privátni vlastníci sa v súčasnosti cítia ukrivdení. Tento zákon im chce pomôcť,“ avizuje minister Budaj.<br />

V podobnej situácii, v akej je teraz Slovensko, bolo aj susedné Poľsko, ktorému Súdny dvor EÚ za ťažbu dreva v chránených územiach uložil dennú pokutu 100 tisíc eur v rámci predbežného opatrenia. Slovenské územia sú pritom podstatne rozsiahlejšie a riziko predbežného opatrenia hrozí aj nám.<br />
<br />
„Chceme sa vyhnúť poľskému scenáru. Odkladanie zmien by bolo veľkou chybou. Presadzujeme skutočnú ochranu prírodných hodnôt, naplníme sľuby, ktoré bývalá vláda tak štedro rozdávala, ale neplnila,“ uzavrel minister Ján Budaj.</div>
